Gaurav Srivastava is a highly skilled Chemical Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the areas of Simulation, Process Design, Commissioning, Operations, and troubleshooting of Hydrocracker plant. He is a Professional Engineer in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Process Engineering & Design, Oil & Gas Plant Operations from Engineering Council of India. He is currently working as a Chemical Engineer at Honeywell, where he is involved in Hydroprocessing, Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0, and IIoT. Gaurav Srivastava completed his master's thesis on "Hydrodynamic studies of trickle bed reactors used in Hydroprocessing" at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is a Life Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), which is a global partner of AIChE. He has extensive experience in steady-state simulation using Aspen HYSYS, Unisim, P&ID development for feed and detail engineering projects, PSV load and sizing calculation, Aspen FLARENET, pump hydraulics, line hydraulics, line lists, and operating manuals. He also has knowledge of international codes and standards like API-520, API 521 & API-526. In addition to his current role at Honeywell, Gaurav Srivastava has worked for several other companies in the past, including Engineering Council of India, where he worked as a Professional Engineer, and Valdel Engineers and Constructors, Ltd (S&B India), where he served as a Principal Process Engineer. At Valdel Engineers and Constructors, he was responsible for preparing and checking Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), carrying out complex hydraulic calculations, sizing, selecting, and specifying pressure relief devices, and providing assistance to the HOD, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, activities, etc. Gaurav Srivastava completed his M.Tech. in Process Engineering & Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Kanpur University, India. He also holds an Intermediate degree in PCM from Government Inter College, Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad. With 15.12 years of relevant experience, Gaurav Srivastava is a highly accomplished Chemical Engineer with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in his field.
